Toyota has changed the bolt pattern and centre bore on its trucks more than once. The year matters, and on older Tacomas so does whether the truck is two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
Tacoma
| Years | Bolt pattern | Centre bore |
|---|---|---|
| 1996 to 2015, some 2WD trucks | 5x114.3 | 67.1 mm to 2004, 60.1 mm from 2005 |
| 1996 to 2015, 4WD trucks | 6x139.7 | 106.1 mm |
| 2016 to 2023 | 6x139.7 | 106.1 mm |
| 2024 to 2026 | 6x139.7 | 95.1 mm |
The five-lug 2WD trucks in our data are the Regular Cab, Xtra Cab and Access Cab, plus the S-Runner and X-Runner. Count the lug nuts on one wheel to be sure: five or six.
Tundra
| Years | Bolt pattern | Centre bore |
|---|---|---|
| 2000 to 2006 | 6x139.7 | 106.1 mm |
| 2007 to 2021 | 5x150 | 110.1 mm |
| 2022 to 2026 | 6x139.7 | 95.1 mm |
The centre bore changed on the newest trucks
The 2022 and newer Tundra and the 2024 and newer Tacoma still use 6x139.7, but the centre bore is 95.1 mm, not the 106.1 mm of the older trucks. Check the bore as well as the bolt pattern.
